Rather than receiving proactive and engaged responses, agents often encounter a dismissive attitude, with lenders casually redirecting them to online application forms. This behavior not only undermines the hard work agents invest in cultivating relationships but also reflects poorly on the lending industry as a whole.

Agents dedicate significant time and effort to nurturing relationships with prospective buyers, only to have their referrals met with indifference. This disconnect highlights the importance of prioritizing effective communication and proactive engagement in the lending process. It’s crucial for lenders to acknowledge and appreciate the efforts agents make in referring to trusted relationships, and to reciprocate with prompt, attentive follow-up.
